Tristan works on Obermeyer’s trading and investments team, executing portfolio strategies while also managing clients’ liquidity and cash flow needs.
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth Partners, Tristan was a Portfolio Management Investment Associate at Dimensional Fund Advisors in Charlotte, NC, managing a diverse range of global ETFs, Mutual Funds, and Tax-Managed Separate Accounts. Prior to his career in finance, he worked as a Data Scientist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a part of their weapons and computing divisions.
Tristan is a CFA charterholder and earned his BS in Quantitative Finance with a minor in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and his MS in Finance from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
On a Personal Note
Originally from Los Alamos, New Mexico, Tristan is an avid traveler and has lived in 6 different states. Outside of work and traveling, he loves all sports (Go Steelers!), golfing, hunting, deep sea fishing, and anything related to investing.
