It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Wally Obermeyer, founder and longtime leader of Obermeyer Wealth Partners. Wally left us on May 23, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer. In the final 18 months of his life, he and his family made a resolute choice not to be defined or diminished by illness but to live each day with intention, presence, and love.
Wally was a visionary who built our firm on the foundation of trust, integrity, and unwavering dedication to clients. Beyond his leadership in the independent wealth management industry, he was deeply committed to his community, touching countless lives through his participation in and support for state, local, and national organizations focused on the arts, education, and conservation.
His legacy lives on at Obermeyer Wealth Partners through the values he instilled in us and our continued commitment to serving families across generations with the same care and loyalty he exemplified.
