The strength of our team lies in our diverse backgrounds, bringing deep financial industry expertise and a commitment to personalized, strategic wealth management across generations.

Wally founded Obermeyer Asset Management after serving as regional vice president of Heritage Trust and Asset Management from 1994 to 1997. He had a broad range of business and financial experience, including managing his family’s ski apparel business and founding a hydroelectric generation company. Wally earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA, cum laude, from Harvard College. Wally formerly chaired the Denver Museum of Nature & Science Foundation Board and was on the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies board. He completed a 12-year term on the Gates Family Foundation Board, where he also chaired the Investment Advisory Committee.
Wally was recognized for more than a decade in leading industry rankings, most recently by Forbes (“Top Wealth Advisors” in 2025 and “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” in 2025) and Barron’s (“Top 100 Independent Advisors” in 2024 and “America’s Top Independent Advisors” in 2025). Obermeyer is also one of Barron’s 2019 Hall of Fame advisors in recognition of being ranked on the Top 100 list for over ten years.

Ali is the firm’s president, leading our team and overseeing operations and strategic initiatives. Additionally, she manages client relationships and works closely with individuals and multigenerational families. Ali heads up our firm’s Executive Committee and is also a member of our Investment Committee.
Ali has worked in the financial industry for 30 years, joining Obermeyer in 2005. As a vice president at Goldman Sachs, she worked in debt capital markets and corporate derivatives and on the Fixed Income division’s internal strategy team. Earlier, at Salomon Brothers in the US and London, Ali advised corporate clients on strategic alliances, risk-management policies, and capital-raising transactions. Ali earned her BA, cum laude, from Middlebury College with honors in economics. She is a board member and treasurer for the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies Endowment Fund, Theatre Aspen, and the Aspen Public Education Fund, and served on the advisory boards for Schwab Advisor Services and the Vanguard Leadership Group of the Aspen Institute. Ali is included on Barron’s “Top 1200 Financial Advisors,” Forbes’ “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” and “Top Women Wealth Advisors” lists. On a Personal Note
There’s a good chance you’ll find Ali doing something outdoors when she is not in the office. Whether it’s skiing, hiking, golfing, biking, traveling, or keeping up with her two high school-aged daughters, she’s always on the move. After leaving the East Coast, she and her husband drove cross-country in an old Jeep Cherokee as they set out for California. They spent two months visiting mountain towns between Colorado and Canada and decided to give Aspen a try. They haven’t left or regretted their decision since.

Dana manages client relationships, serves on our Executive and Investment Committees, and is responsible for orchestrating the firm’s operations and strategic initiatives. She also helps clients analyze their overall financial situation and goals, and has extensive experience working with multi-generational families.
Dana has extensive financial sector experience. Before joining Obermeyer, she specialized in capital markets and investor relations, holding positions at Intelsat, Washington Real Estate Investment Trust, and Ford Motor Company. Dana earned her MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BBA in finance and political science from the University of Notre Dame. Forbes named Dana in its ranking of “America’s Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors” and “Top Women Wealth Advisors”, and “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors”. She was also included in Working Mother/Shook Research’s “Top Wealth Advisor Moms”. On a Personal Note
On any given day, you can find Dana spending time with her children and husband, Ben. In her free time, she escapes to Steamboat Springs to take full advantage of Colorado’s amazing hiking and cross-country skiing. When in Denver, Dana stays active by trying out new workout classes in Cherry Creek. If there’s one thing you should know about Dana, it’s that she’s crazy about books. She’s always looking for her next read (or listen) and is open to suggestions!

Charlton directs our compliance and technology programs and is a general resource on regulatory and legal matters. He is also a member of our Executive Committee and has extensive experience in securities regulation and law.
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, he founded C.A. Rugg Advisory Services LLC, a Denver-based private law practice providing representation and advice on regulatory and business matters. Previous positions include serving as senior counsel in FINRA’s Enforcement Department, as an assistant U.S. attorney in the District of New Jersey’s U.S. Attorney’s Office, and as an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York City. Charlton is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law and received his undergraduate degree in philosophy from Brown University.
On a Personal Note
Outside of the office, you’re likely to find Charlton taking advantage of the Colorado outdoors: skiing, kayaking, hiking, or trying to keep up with his two boys. A lifelong sailor, he also travels to places with salt water to compete in regattas.

Adam is a member of our Executive Committee and a leading member of our Investment Committee, serving as the portfolio manager for our equity strategies
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, Adam was Booth Creek Capital Management LLC’s Managing Member, Founder, and Portfolio Manager. He founded Booth Creek, investing with a dividend-focused equity strategy, in 2010 and grew it to over $100M of assets under management. Prior to Booth Creek, Adam served as the head of Merrill Lynch Global Strategic Investment Group in New York, where he oversaw a multibillion-dollar long-short equity fund. Earlier in his career, Adam held positions at Morgan Stanley, where he managed a billion-dollar long-short equity portfolio. Adam received a BA in English from St. Lawrence University.
On a Personal Note
Adam moved from New York City to Vail in 2010, and in his free time, Adam enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and children. His passions include skiing, golf, squash, backgammon, reading, cooking, and travel.

Roger oversees the firm’s trading operations, fixed income portfolio, and performance reporting. He also manages client relationships.
Roger has worked in the financial sector since 1984 and joined Obermeyer in 1998 as one of the firm’s first team members. Roger previously worked for ASB Capital Management and Columbia Partners, LLC, as a fixed income and equity analyst providing quantitative portfolio and security analytics. He was an equity trader and did econometric modeling at Merrill Lynch in the 1980s. Roger holds an MBA in finance from the University of Colorado and a BS in mathematics from the University of Delaware. He also serves on the board for the 5Point Film Festival.
On a Personal Note
On any given winter morning, you can probably find Roger skinning up and skiing down Aspen Mountain as the sun rises. During the warmer months, you can find him biking and hiking throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.

Bret is a client advisor and member of our Investment Committee, performing security analysis and monitoring portfolio composition.
Bret began working in the financial services industry in 2004, and was most recently a founding senior research analyst at One Tusk Investment Management in New York, N.Y. Bret’s prior experience includes senior research positions at Scout Capital Management, Karsch Capital, and Crestwood Capital Management. He began his career as an analyst at Ares Management LLC and Credit Suisse First Boston. Bret is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his B.S., cum laude, in philosophy, political science, and economics.
On a Personal Note
In his free time, Bret serves as a chauffeur for his two young boys. He is a member of the Boulder Chapter of YPO, the President’s Society at the Aspen Institute, and Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Aspen Country Day School. He also serves as a trustee at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver and is a member of the National Council of the Aspen Art Museum. Most importantly, Bret is an avid Boston Red Sox and Celtics fan.

Simone supports our team by serving as the first point of contact for our clients in the Aspen office, assisting the advisory team, and ensuring our day-to-day operations run smoothly. In addition, Simone provides concierge services for our clients and supports special projects to improve their experience.
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth Partners, Simone gained extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including positions as a destination planner & concierge at Inspirato and a house manager for a private family. Her professional background also includes serving as an event & operations manager for a local restaurant and as a ski instructor for Aspen Skiing Company. Simone earned her B.S. in Hospitality Management from Colorado State University.
On a Personal Note
Simone is a Colorado native and Roaring Fork Valley local. She loves to get outside as much as possible with her two dogs, Roo and Rae. In the winter months, Simone loves downhill skiing and going uphill with her dogs. In the summer months, she loves hiking, paddleboarding, and camping. Simone is also an avid sports fan, enjoys traveling, and loves to spend time with friends and family.

Nick is a dedicated research analyst focusing on multiple industry sectors. He sits on the Investment Committee, advising and supporting on security selection and portfolio construction.
Nick began working in the financial services industry in 2013. Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, he worked at Vantage Investment Partners in Kansas City, Missouri, where he held various roles, including operations specialist, trader, and most recently, investment analyst. Nick is a CFA charterholder and is a graduate of the University of Kansas, where he earned his BS in finance with a minor in economics.
On a Personal Note
As a Midwest transplant, Nick enjoys Colorado’s summer by spending time outdoors and hiking with his wife, Monica.

Anna works closely with our relationship managers to support onboarding for new relationships and address our clients’ ongoing financial needs.
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, Anna helped run an insurance agency through Liberty Mutual Insurance. In this role, Anna built partnerships across Colorado and helped to educate her clients to make sure they were set up with proper coverage limits to support their long-term financial goals. Anna graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BA in business administration, finance.
On a Personal Note
Anna is a fifth-generation Colorado native and enjoys everything the state has to offer. Her hobbies include baking and cooking. Her favorite Colorado town is Vail, especially in the summertime.

Brian manages client relationships, produces financial planning analysis, and oversees our marketing program and client communication initiatives.
Forbes named Brian in its ranking of “America’s Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors” and “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors”. He has over 15 years of experience working across the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. His previous experience includes roles in the insurance technology industry, the United States House of Representatives Budget Committee, and the nonprofit US-Ireland Alliance.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES), serving as Treasurer. Brian is a graduate of Princeton University, where he earned his BA in political science with a focus on international relations and security studies. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds a Series 65 license as a qualified investment advisor representative (IAR).
On a Personal Note
Brian enjoys spending time in the Rocky Mountains snowboarding, fishing, and hiking. When it is a little warmer out, Brian loves playing soccer, a sport he played at the NCAA division 1 level in college. Outside of the office, you’ll find Brian rooting on any sports team from Washington, D.C., and cooking Thai cuisine.

Kimbo manages client relationships and spearheads our firm’s approach to analyzing and monitoring clients’ financial goals and retirement planning.
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, she has lived in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2006. Kimbo has over a decade of financial services experience and brings prior experience in the nonprofit and hospitality sectors. She earned her Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town with honors in marketing and economics. She holds a Series 65 license as a qualified investment advisor representative (IAR). She is a board member of Manaus and is a past board member of the Aspen Community Foundation and Wildwood School.
On a Personal Note
In their free time, Kimbo and her husband enjoy spending as much time in the outdoors as possible. You can find them skiing, rock climbing and mountain biking with their little girl, Taylor. They are fully subscribed to the weekend warrior #vanlife and enjoy exploring the Mountain West in their custom converted Sprinter van.

Ryan manages client relationships and assists with the firm’s financial planning efforts.
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, Ryan began his financial career in Boston as an investment specialist at Baystate Financial. He provided advisors with key investment recommendations and portfolio analysis for their clients. Most recently, he worked for a single-family office, focusing on public equities and multiple privately owned businesses.
On a Personal Note
Ryan, originally from Massachusetts, moved to Vail in 2019 and enjoys all the activities Colorado has to offer. Given his active lifestyle, you can usually find him in the mountains, either alpine skiing, or mountain biking. He loves to spend time with family and friends. Ryan lives in Vail with his wife and their young daughter.

Jody works closely with our team in the areas of general support and client services. She also manages key aspects of our firm’s technology systems.
She has extensive operations and support experience, including positions at Shamrock Foods, Four Corners Properties in Basalt, and CenturyLink. Her background includes computer science, information technology, and software development studies at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University.
On a Personal Note
Always trying to enjoy the outdoors, Jody can be found camping, hiking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, cooking, or traveling on any given weekend. And, of course, she is a crazy dog mom to her fur babies.

Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, Charlie worked as a senior account executive for a live music talent booking company, where he managed client relationships. He grew up working as a lead dockhand for Hinckley Yacht Services in Connecticut. Charlie graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in cognitive psychology.
On a Personal Note
Charlie moved to Colorado from his home state of Connecticut, chasing a love for the mountains. During the winter, he enjoys getting out on the slopes of Winter Park. In the summer, he enjoys hiking, camping, rafting, and catching some of his favorite musicians at Red Rocks.

Caroline manages client relationships and assists with the firm’s financial planning efforts.
Caroline brings over a decade of experience in financial services, with expertise spanning turnaround and restructuring advisory, banking, and wealth management. Before joining the Obermeyer team in 2025, she held positions at Berkeley Research Group, Capital One, and Merrill Lynch, where she developed a strong foundation in both strategic consulting and client relationship management. Caroline earned her BA from the University of Notre Dame, double-majoring in Management Consulting and History.

Originally from Boston, she enjoys spending time outdoors—skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. When not outside, she can often be found cheering on the Fighting Irish or trying out new recipes with her husband.

Mikaela leads the implementation of strategic and operational initiatives across all firm functions.
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, Mikaela was a senior analyst in Citigroup’s Corporate Bank. She provided industry expertise and strategic advisory solutions to her clients in the industrial sector. Mikaela earned her BSBA, cum laude, from the University of Miami, where she majored in finance and economics.

Mikaela, originally from New York and a lifelong Colorado wannabe, moved to Denver to embrace mountain life from the comfort of the city. Mikaela loves skiing, hiking, camping, drinking coffee, and hanging out with her Siamese cats. Mikaela fosters a variety of animals in her free time.

Ryan works closely with the firm’s wealth advisors to support the delivery of personalized financial strategies to help clients stay on track to meet their financial goals.
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth Partners, Ryan worked in executive search, specializing in private equity placements. He focused on recruiting operating partners and C-suite positions across various companies, playing a key role in helping private equity firms build strong leadership teams. Ryan graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a BA in Business, Organizations, and Society and is currently pursuing his MBA from the University of Michigan.

Ryan is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and avidly supports the city’s sports teams. He relocated to Colorado to pursue his love for the outdoors and an active lifestyle. Ryan enjoys skiing, golf, soccer, music, and spending time with friends in the mountains year-round.

Brooke manages client relationships and helps lead the firm’s financial planning efforts.
Brooke obtained her Certified Financial Planner ™ designation in 2022 and uses this knowledge to create innovative and thoughtful solutions for clients and their families. Forbes named her in its ranking of “America’s Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors” and “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors”. Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, Brooke worked in business development at Perella Weinberg Partners collaborating with prospective endowment, foundation, and family office clients seeking investment management services. Previously, Brooke held positions at Twin Brook Capital Partners, and in Morgan Stanley’s high-net-worth wealth division in Chicago. Brooke graduated magna cum laude from Lake Forest College with a BA in Economics. She also played volleyball and golf in college.

Chris oversees our firm’s finance and business operations.
Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector. Before joining Obermeyer in 1997, Chris provided accounting support for Bank of Aspen and World Wide Ski Corporation.

When she is not in the office, Chris likes to travel and enjoys knitting, reading and exploring the various hiking trails in and around her home in New Castle.

Before joining Obermeyer Wealth Partners, he worked as an implementation consultant at an operations consulting firm, managing client relationships and delivering enterprise software solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked at a Washington, D.C.-based cybersecurity firm, building partnerships across the western U.S. and advising clients on reducing information security risks. Kineo graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Enterprise Management.
On a Personal Note
Kineo moved to Colorado from the East Coast, drawn by a love of the mountains and an active lifestyle. He enjoys skiing in the winter and spends the warmer months hiking, camping, and mountain biking. His other hobbies include cheering on the New York Rangers, exploring new coffee shops, and jumping in cold water—no matter the season.

Molly is responsible for administration of client accounts, operations, and maintaining our portfolio management software. She also assists with office technology and security implementation.
Molly joined Obermeyer Wealth in 2009 with more than 20 years of financial and investment management operations experience. She began her financial career in the trust administration department at Wells Fargo, followed by investment management operations at PVG Asset Management in Golden, Colorado.
On a Personal Note
Outside of work, Molly is a traveler to all places sunny! She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially making time for her son, who is stationed on the island of Oahu in the U.S. Army.

Sebastian supports the firm’s trading operations and portfolio administration efforts, focusing on leveraging our technology and reporting systems.
Sebastian began his career as an analyst in the healthcare and telecommunications industries. He holds a master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Denver and earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a minor in political science.
On a Personal Note
In his free time, Sebastian is an avid skier during the winter months and enjoys playing hockey in an adult league. You can also catch him at an Avs game. In the summer, he loves traveling to new destinations, hiking, and exploring new trails with his dog, Zeus.

Sean supports our team by serving as the first point of contact for our clients in the Denver office, coordinating meetings and travel for our advisors, and making sure our day-to-day operations run smoothly. In addition, Sean provides concierge services for our clients and supports special projects to improve their experience.
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, Sean gained extensive experience in the luxury hospitality sector. In addition to serving as a household manager in private service, he has worked for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, American Express Platinum Concierge Services, Exclusive Resorts, LRA by Deloitte, and Equity Estates Fund. Sean earned his BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado-Boulder and CHM from the Starkey International Institute.
On a Personal Note
Sean loves to travel, both domestically and internationally, whenever he has the opportunity. He is socially conscious and supports several philanthropic causes doing what he can “to pay it forward.” As an avid fan of outdoor festivals and concerts, he relishes the opportunity to partake in Denver’s many cultural events. And, like many Coloradans, he hikes, camps, and explores the history of the West. But, overall, he simply enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.

Allyson works closely with our relationship managers to support onboarding for new relationships and address our clients’ ongoing financial needs.
Before joining Obermeyer, Allyson played professional soccer in Portugal and Lithuania. Playing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League was a personal highlight. Allyson graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability and a BA in International Studies. She was selected as a Presidential Ambassador and was honored to receive the Albert C. Yates Leadership Award.
On a Personal Note
Outside of work, Allyson loves to spend quality time with friends and family. She is an avid sports fan. In her retirement from soccer, she is learning how to snowboard and golf. She loves the mountains, podcasts, art, and working out. Most importantly, she is a chicken tender connoisseur and is happy to share her favorite spots.

Before joining Obermeyer Wealth, Michelle built her career in financial services at Charles Schwab, holding roles in client service, trading, and project and meeting management. She’s passionate about providing thoughtful, high-touch support to clients and advisors, ensuring every detail is handled with care and accuracy.

Originally from the Northeast, Michelle moved to Colorado and quickly embraced its active lifestyle and beautiful surroundings. A certified group fitness instructor, she enjoys teaching dance cardio classes, running, and spending time with friends, family, and her cat. She also loves to travel and explore new places whenever she can.

Hayden manages client relationships and assists with the firm’s financial planning efforts.
Hayden has spent his career working in financial services, high-net-worth wealth management, and financial planning, including experience at Empower Retirement, Morgan Stanley, and Dodds Wealth Management. Most recently, he worked in financial consulting for Kroll in its property tax division. He is a graduate of Colorado State University, where he earned his B.A. in Health and Human Sciences with a minor in Business, and was a member of the two-time national championship men’s lacrosse team.
On a Personal Note
Hayden is a Colorado native and spends his free time in the outdoors. In the winter months, he enjoys downhill and backcountry skiing with his wife and their black Lab, Riggs. When not training for triathlons during the warmer seasons, you will find him mountain biking, backpacking, and rafting. He and his wife also enjoy traveling to new places and cooking together.

Naomi works closely with Obermeyer Wealth’s relationship managers, custodians and related professionals to meet our clients’ financial needs. She is a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™. Naomi is also a member of our Marketing Committee and contributes to the firm’s communications.
Naomi has been with the firm since 2017, when she traded a career in news and business journalism for one in finance.

Naomi grew up in southwestern Colorado and is thrilled to be back on the Front Range after editing and writing for publications in Washington, D.C., New York and New Jersey. She loves reading, hiking, swimming, live music, and traveling with her family.

As a Senior Strategist at Obermeyer Wealth Partners, Jeff is responsible for advising our team on the design and implementation of corporate and investment strategy.
Before joining Obermeyer Wealth Partners in 2025, Jeff served as an Executive Director and Team Lead for JP Morgan Private Bank, where he led a high-performing wealth management team dedicated to serving the complex financial needs of affluent individuals and families across the United States. Earlier in his career, Jeff served as a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Cambiar Investors, where he managed the firm’s small-cap mutual fund and led its consumer discretionary, technology, and real estate investment research practice. Jeff earned his MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and his BA from Tufts University, where he double majored in Economics and International Relations. As a Denver native, Jeff is very active in his community. He currently serves as Trustee/Treasurer for Graland Country Day School and is a Board Member at the Clyfford Still Museum.
On a Personal Note
Jeff is an avid traveler and enjoys exploring remote destinations around the world with his wife and two teenage children. Some of his favorite destinations include Everest Base Camp, Inle Lake, Petra, and the Pantanal. When not watching the capital markets or at an airport, Jeff enjoys coaching high school soccer at Kent Denver and skiing or fly fishing in the Colorado high country.

Owen is a dedicated research analyst focusing on multiple industry sectors and alternative investments. He sits on the Investment Committee, advising and supportingproviding guidance on security selection and portfolio construction.
Owen is an experienced investment professional specializing in public equity analysis and portfolio management. He began his career in financial services in 2015. Before joining Obermeyer Wealth Partners, he was a Vice President at Bessemer Trust in New York, focusing on small- and mid-cap equity investments. Before that, Owen worked at The Olayan Group, where he analyzed both public and private equity investments. Earlier in his career, he held roles in equity research at UBS and in advisory at EY. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Accounting from Tulane University and previously earned his CPA designation.
On a Personal Note
As a recent transplant to Colorado, Owen spends his free time exploring the outdoors through hiking and climbing, refining his culinary skills, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and DJing.

Elise manages multiple aspects of our client accounts, including onboarding transfers and maintenance, and serves as a primary point of contact with third-party custodians. She also handles aspects of our SEC compliance.
Elise brings extensive experience in the independent investment advisory business. A native of Ohio, Elise earned her BS from the College of Charleston.

While she was born a Buckeye, Elise has called Colorado home since 2007. She grew up in Central Ohio as the oldest of three siblings and the shortest in height by almost a foot. Whether in the mountains, Maritimes, or Lowcountry, she loves spending time with family and “framily.”

Skip retired from the firm in 2023. He continues to serve on our Executive Committee in his Emeritus role and mentors several team members.
Skip began his investment management career in 1986, working with several esteemed firms including Tempest, Isenhart, Chafee, Lansdowne and Associates, and Davis Capital Management, LLC, before becoming a partner at Wood Investment Counsel. Skip received a BS in biology from Lewis & Clark College.
On a Personal Note
Like many Colorado natives, Skip is an avid outdoorsman. When he isn’t working, Skip enjoys camping, fishing, and hunting throughout the Rocky Mountains, from Colorado to British Columbia. He and his wife also enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family.

George is our firm’s co-founder. He retired from Obermeyer Wealth in 2019.
George founded Wood Investment Counsel, LLC, in 1982 to provide independent investment management. He began his investment career in 1969 as an investment analyst with Stein Roe & Farnham, a leading investment advisory firm in Chicago, where he became a partner. He was subsequently with State Farm Insurance, where he was responsible for investment analysis and portfolio management. George holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a PE (Professional Engineering) degree in chemical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He serves on the Colorado School of Mines Foundation Board of Governors and is a member of our Investment Committee.

Tod retired from the firm in 2025. He continues to serve the firm in an Emeritus role by supporting the Investment Committee and mentoring team members.
Tod has more than two decades of investment management experience, beginning as an analyst for ING Barings Securities in Tokyo in 1994, where he served as senior economist and analyst for the financial and telecommunications sectors. He joined JP Morgan Fleming in London as a portfolio manager for Japanese equities, and then served as analyst and portfolio manager for Tokyo-based Whitney & Co., a leading Japanese hedge fund. Tod received a BA in Asian studies from Pomona College and an MA in international relations from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
